伝染性共感あくびはいいことだ！カバ博士🌟
あくびって、なぜ人のを見ると自分もしたくなるんだろう？
――それは「共感（きょうかん）」と関係しているんだよ。
動物行動学っていう学問では、これを「伝染性あくび」って呼んでいるよ。
たとえば、お友だちや家族があくびをすると、自分もつられてあくびしちゃうことがあるよね？
電車乗ってるときとか．．．ふふぁ～♪
これは「相手と気もちをわかち合っている」サインなんじゃ。ペンギンくんやキリン子さんでも同じことじゃよ。
特に仲よしの相手のあくびほど、うつりやすいんだって。つまり、あくびは「ねむいだけ」じゃなくて、「きもちを共有してるよ！」っていう、体からのメッセージなんだね。
だから、だれかのあくびに気づいたら、「この人と仲よしなんだな」って思ってもいいかもじゃ！

Contagious empathic yawning is a good thing! Dr. Hippo🌟
Why do we want to yawn when we see others yawning? –It has to do with “empathy”. In the field of ethology, this is called “contagious yawning”.
For example, when a friend or family member yawns, you may find yourself yawning too, right? Like when you’re on the train… . . Hehehe♪
This is a sign that you are “sharing your feelings with the other person”. It’s the same for penguins and giraffes.
The more you are close to someone, the more likely you are to catch a yawn. In other words, yawning isn’t just “sleepy”, it’s a message from your body that says, “I’m sharing my feelings!” So, if you notice someone yawning, you might think, “This person is a good friend of mine!”
